About me

My name is Christiaan Vinkenborg. I have been working at the intersection of external and internal communication,
government and political communication, and EU affairs for over 20 years, after completing an MA in International
Relations and a postgraduate MA in EU Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe (Bruges). I work
as a freelance editorial and project coordinator, copywriter/editor, researcher, and translator for both the public and
private sectors.

My specialisations include project and editorial coordination, long-form copy, copywriting and storytelling (such as
newsletters, speeches, press releases, social media, blog posts, and reports), web copy, texts for communication
campaigns and audiovisual projects, as well as promotional texts for virtually any type of event, product, or service.
In addition to my native Dutch, I am fluent in French and English. I also have a good command of German and a basic
knowledge of Italian. I am a certified city guide (Brussels) and, as a hobby, I am writing a book about Victor Horta’s
Aubecq mansion.
